1. Petra Ral
Petra Ral (ペトラ・ラル Petora Raru
?) was a hand-picked soldier from the Scouting Legion by Corporal Levi in theSpecial Operations Squad. She was subsequently killed off by the Female Titan when the attempt of an ambush backfired.
She looks up to Levi as a captain and cares strongly for her team, though notably at odds with Auruo.
Petra is kind and caring, as shown when she looks after and guides Eren when he is first admitted to the squad and seems to have acted as some sort of attachment figure for Eren among Levis Squad as she is the one shown to worry most about him as well as wishing he would rely and trust her and the others, and it is ultimately her who had managed Eren to do so.Whatever the case, Petras words had a major impact on Eren.
She also showed the most remorse over the reaction of Erens accidental transformation.
Petra: "We're sorry Eren.We got scared and did something stupid and you must be disappointed in us."
Along with her comrades, she had bit her hand just like Eren, signifying that they had established a bond which was proven as very strong as Eren was shown to have been deeply hurt over their deaths and blaming himself for it.
Petra is first introduced during an expedition outside Wall Rose, tending to a mortally wounded soldier. When she was unable to stop the bleeding, she helped Levi comfort the dying youth and wept openly at his death.
She is later selected to become a member of the Special Operations Squad and ordered to guard Eren Yeager. It is established that she greatly admires Levi, and argues frequently with Auruo Bossard over his imitation of their commander and his harsh behavior.
While initially wary of Eren and quick to draw her swords when he transformed by accident, she readily accepts him afterwards. She is the first of the group to bite her hand in imitation of Eren's method of transforming, and notes that doing so is actually quite painful. She serves as a gentle, almost maternal presence within the squad and discusses with Eren the importance of trusting one's comrades completely.
When the Female Titan begins her attack on the 57th Expedition, Petra is one of those most vocal about Eren avoiding battle. She repeatedly begs him to trust in his commanders and comrades, and accept the sacrifices of others so that the mission can continue. Eren eventually makes the decision to follow her advice, allowing the Scouting Legion to successfully capture the Female Titan in a trap. Afterwards, the Special Operations Squad is ordered to standby while efforts are made to capture the human within the Female Titan. However, the operation ends in failure when the Female Titan uses a scream to summon other Titans to her position and is devoured by them.
Afterwards, the squad begins to retreat back to their horses, when a flare leads them off-course. They are then ambushed by a person later revealed to be Annie Leonhardt, who murders Gunter Shulz before transforming back into her Titan form. Eren is ordered to flee while the surviving squad members engage the Titan in battle. Petra and the others initially seem to have the upper hand, first blinding the Female Titan before crippling both her arms. But when Petra and Erd Gin move in for the kill, the Titan suddenly regenerates a single eye and kills Erd.
Petra desperately attempts to escape, but is ultimately killed when the Female Titan leaps across the clearing and smashes her into a tree with her foot. Petra's body is later discovered by Levi as he pursued the Female Titan through the forest.
She was a skilled and experienced warrior and had a high kill record of Titan kills (58 Titan killed, 48 in team and 10 in solo), being the highest currently known in the series so far.
She was killed by the Female Titan, who smashed her into a tree.

=> Petra is the only female in the Special Operations Squad led by Levi.
=> Upon returning from the failed ambush that cost Petra her life, Levi encounters her father. It is revealed she wrote to him constantly, and may have had feelings for Levi. He expresses his desire to see his daughter settle down and marry (hinted to be Levi) soon, but frets that she is still so young.

2. Mikasa Ackerman
Mikasa at 15 y.o
Mikasa Ackerman (ミカサ・アッカーマン Mikasa Akkāman) is the female protagonist of the series and the adopted sister of Eren. After graduating as the top of her batch, she later joinsScouting Legion with Eren and Armin.
Mikasa is considerably more withdrawn after the murder of her parents; however, she still loves and cares deeply for her friends, especially Eren and Armin, seeing them as the last remnants of a family she cannot afford to lose. Her personality as an adult is very much influenced and molded by Eren when as children they killed robbers who killed Mikasa's family, with Eren telling her that the world is a cruel place and she has to fight to survive - words that stayed with her till this very day and became the very drive for her to train herself to be one of the best soldiers ever seen.
Mikasa has a strong sense of right and wrong, but she is also very protective of Eren and does all she can to advise him to follow what she deems to be the right track. Despite that, she knows well that she cannot always sway Eren in his decisions, as such she made it a point to follow Eren to almost everywhere he goes and stick by whatever final decisions he makes, just so that she can be around to help him out when he is in trouble. She takes Eren's opinion so seriously that when he once said that her hair was too long, she immediately had it cut, even though Jean had just commented that it looked beautiful. Yet, for all her blind loyalty, Mikasa is also very level-headed. Her will is remarkably strong as she is seen to not lose her cool and being at a lost of what to do no matter how bleak the situations she is in seem to be, shown when even though it was believed that Eren was dead, she concentrated on keeping everyone else alive and not giving in to grief as many of her comrades are doing. Owing to her protectiveness of Eren, if he is ever in danger, Mikasa will stop at nothing to keep him safe, to the point of being willing to take on soldiers who try to execute Eren and relentlessly attacking theFemale Titan when she captured Eren.

Mikasa is is very fit and has chin-length black hair. Originally, she wore her hair long, but when Eren told her to cut it, since it would be a hindrance during training, she did so (although Jean Kirschtein had just told her how beautiful it is). Her height is average, and she has blue, calm looking eyes.
She is always seen wearing the uniform of the Scouting Legion, as well as a red scarf, which was given to her by Eren when they met for the second time. It is very precious to her.

3. Levi
Levi is a corporal in the Scouting Legion, and is said to be humanity's most powerful soldier. He was also the squad leader of the Special Operations Squad.
Lance Corporal Levi (リヴァイ Rivai)
Levi is known to be a "clean-freak", as he tends to want stuff to be spotlessly clean. Moreover, he is often blunt and unapproachable and he has a strong respect for structure and discipline. This makes him uneasy to be around.
While Levi respects order and structure, he also seems to hold a distain for authority and the status quo. At Eren's tribunal, insults the Military Police and the Wallists, calling them "pigs" and also noting that they are not capable of handling Eren. It seems he holds an open resentment for the Military Police, as later on, he further degrades them by stating that they never battle or even see any Titans, and suggests that they join the Scouting Legion.
When it comes to titans, he's quite merciless, killing them ruthlessly while keeping up his cold behaviour.
Levi has been shown on a few occasions to be quite sadistic. When The Female Titan is captured, Levi proceeds to taunt her by saying how he will "cut off the limbs from her human body", and even admits that while she is suffering, he is "having fun". He even goes as far as to say he believes her and him are a lot alike, nothing how they slaughter their enemies.
Soldier: "W-Was I able... to help humanity? Or will I die, never having been of any use at all?"
Levi: "You have done a great deal. And you will continue to do so. The resolve you leave behind will give me strength. I promise you... I will obliterate the Titans!"

Despite his appearance, he does not undervalue human life; as he did not hesitate to grab a dying team member's blood soaked hand and comfort him in his final moments. He was shown later to be greatly disturbed by the loss of his entire squad. He cares greatly about his subordinates, and sustained an injury for the sake of protecting Mikasa.
He is rumored to have originally lived like a thug and participated in underground crime before he became a soldier. He eventually was picked up by the current commander of the Scouting Legion.
When Eren gets out of his Titan body and is surrounded by titans, Levi comes back from his tour and rescues the group from them. Later on, after Eren wakes up in a cell, Levi insures him that the higher-ups will let him join the Scouting Legion and that he will make sure Eren doesn't get out of hand. During the trial, after Eren gets out of hand with his words, he assaults Eren, much to Mikasa's anger, as he teaches him his place. This was just an act to get the people to think that Levi can keep Eren down and that the police force cannot, assuring them that the Scouting Legion will take care of him.
Levi then assigns a new elite group that will protect Eren in their next tour. During their stay at the castle, Levi makes sure Eren is kept tamed and makes him sleep in the dungeon. Everyone in his special team respects him, and one of them even tries to talk like him, albeit failing at it. Levi was one of the only people that weren't afraid of Eren when he started to turn into a Titan, and he took charge quickly by calming the team down.
During the tour to go in and out of the wall, Levi and his team lay in the back of the formation, not seeing any danger for a while. It wasn't until they got to the forest that they encountered the Female Titan. Eren could have defeated her at that time, but Levi's team convinced him otherwise. Levi later gave him the right to choose his next action. Later on, after capturing the Female Titan, Levi and Mike try to cut her nape but they failed. The scouting legion then retreated after the Female Titan screamed and got attacked by a huge group of titans.
After the female titan came back and killed Levi's team members and kidnapped Eren, Levi and Mikasa both joined forces to get Eren back. Levi told her not to try to kill it since they probably couldn't, so they decided to cut it up and get Eren out of her mouth. After many simultaneous attacks, Levi was able to take Eren out of her mouth and retreat with the others.
Currently Levi is recovering from an injury which he sustained while saving Mikasa from Annie's attack. He later is tasked to escort Pastor Nick and obtain information regarding the secrets he knows about his cult.
Abilities
3D Maneuver Gear
He has shown the capability of incapacitating Annie Leonhardt in her Titan form (A 15 meter deviant type), something which whole squads and even Eren in his Titan form couldn't accomplish.Levi is excellent at using the 3D Maneuver Gear, to a point that everyone says he is the best at it. He is also said to be as valuable as an entire brigade, far outweighing all of the other soldiers. He is said to have been extremely strong even before joining the Scouting Legion.

4. Annie Leonhardt
Annie Leonhardt (アニ・レオンハート Ani Reonhāto
?) is a member of the 104th Trainees Squad who enters the Military Police.
She is later revealed to be the Female Titan, and an agent sent to infiltrate the military by a yet-unknown group. It is hinted that her father indoctrinated and trained her from a young age for her mission. She is the major antagonist after Trost battle until her eventual capture.
Annie is considered to be isolated, exclusionary type and friendships don't come to her easily. She is apathetic and somnolent with little desire to put in any effort into meaningless disciplines or activities, and instead focuses exclusively on making it into the Military Police to obtain an easy life. Yet, somehow she does seem to hold some strange fascination with people that hold a deep sense of duty and righteousness -- in those people who do care and who can devote their lives and even die for causes they believe in.
Originally from the same village as Reiner Braun and Bertholdt Fubar, Annie had rigorously trained with her father ever since she was young. During a flashback, her father pleads her to forgive him, for yet unknown reasons. Thinking it may be too late, he tells Annie to treat everyone as her enemy and asks her to promise him that she will come back home.
Graduating 4th, a rank below Bertholdt Fubar, Annie chose to enlist in the Military Police. When the Colossal Titan breached Wall Rose, the same way it did with Wall Maria, Annie was assigned to rear guard with Mikasa and a few of the others to help fend off the Titans as the people are evacuated to the safety of Wall Shina. She was involved in helping Jean Kirschtein and the other retake the supply unit to restock the gas canisters for their gear. While watching Titan Eren fight off the other titans, Annie overhears Jean and Reiner arguing and so she think that he may be their ally. She learns about Eren's shapeshifting ability.
During hand-to-hand combat training, Annie easily bests Eren and Reiner with a kicking technique her father taught her. Later on during dinner, she watched as he used the same technique to subdue Jean when he tried to pick a fight again. The next day, Annie and Eren were watching him as he practice hand-to-hand combat. She noticed that Jean's only taking it seriously just to pick a fight again and doesn't see anything positive from it. Annie points out something wrong in how Eren handled the kicking technique and offers to teach him the proper techniques.
Annie awakens in her room in the Stohess District of Wall Shina. Her hair is the same as the Female Titan's when not tied up in a bun. Annie is teased by Hitch and Marlo, but a member tells them to leave her alone believing that she hasn't recovered from battle and is the only one who has real combat experience. Soon Armin approaches her and asks for help in hiding Eren until they can convince the king to better protect the walls. Annie reluctantly agrees by putting on a ring and escorts them to a place where they can hide. When Eren and Armin try to get her to go down an underground passageway with them, she refuses and suspects something is awry. Mikasa, having enough of Annie's games, takes off her hood and draws out her 3DMG. She refers to her as the female type titan. Armin's suspicion is confirmed when she smiles in the same way as the female titan, and by her refusal to enter the passage, where she cannot transform. Soon the two titans captured for research are killed and the Military Police check the Three Dimensional Maneuver Gears from the trainees. During that time, Armin, Annie and Conny Springer discussed which military branch they want to join. When Annie reveals that she will go to the military police, Conny considers joining them too and asks for her opinion. Annie responds telling him that it's his decision to make, not hers. When she learns Armin plans to join the Scouting Legion, she asks him what he would do if he was ordered to die. He tells her if the reasons are good, then he'll do so. Annie thinks he's weak physically, but yet he's very strong at heart. Later we learn that she had offered Marco Bodt's 3DMG for inspection as her own, and that had prompted Armin to become suspicious of her. Ultimately during the Scouting Legion draft, Annie leaves to join the military police.
After firing a signal, disgusied Scouting Legion members come out of their hiding places, and restrain Annie. Seeminglly captured and immobile, she still managess to flick her thumb to open a small blade hidden in her ring and wound her self, thereby allowing her to transform into her titan form, killing those restraining her in the process. Now, resuming her attempts to capture Eren, Armin and Mikasa realize how desperate she is, and try to get him to fight her. Overcoming his inital hesiation, he transforms into his titan form and takes Annie on.
While Annie is trapped inside the crystal, one of the Scouting Legion members tries to break the crystal to extract her, but Hanji stops him (thinking that if the crystal is destroyed, it would kill Annie) and tells both the Military Police and the rest of the Scouting Legion to take her underground and detain her. Meanwhile, Jean, who went into the town supposedly posing as Eren, learns the truth about Annie being the female titan.Annie takes flight towards the wall soon after Eren transforms. She is pursued by him, Mikasa and several Scouting Legion squads. The chase continues until Annie reaches a flat land with no buildings. Having nowhere to hook their 3DMG anchors, the Scouting Legion squads and Mikasa are forced to take a long detour, while Eren gives chase alone. Annie uses this opportunity for one last ditch attempt at capturing Eren, a brief struggle between the two of them ensues, but she fails again. After that, she continues to try and escape by scaling the wall. Armin, upon realizing that catching up with her by using 3DMG gear would be impossible, instructs titan Eren to throw Mikasa upward, towards Annie. His plan works and Mikasa reaches Annie moments before she is about to reach the top of the wall. Not hesitating in the slightest, she cuts off all of Titan Annie's fingers, leaving her struggling to hold on. Mikasa then tells her to fall down and pushes her off via the head. Eren, in his titan form, hold down the body as both the military police and the members of the Scouting Legion, cut into the flesh and try to extract Annie. Upon extracting Annie from the titan body, they find out Annie is completely enclosed inside a (pressumably indestructable) crystal.
Ultimately, Annie has been desperate to kidnap Eren and reasons for that remain unknown
Abilities
Annie is one of the strongest fighters alongside Mikasa and Eren. She was ranked as one of the top 5 trainees at 4th position, implying a degree of skill in other military combat forms such as the use of 3D Gear.
Martial Arts
Annie is noteworthy for her unique fighting style, with a strong focus on minimizing the advantages of larger, stronger opponents through kicks, throws, and holds. She notes that her father taught her this style, and during their time in training together, she teaches it to Eren Yeager.
Like Eren, Annie displays an ability to transform into a 14 meter titan. She uses this form to wipe out military formations the Scouting Legion uses during their attempt to retake Wall Maria. Annie's titan form is similar to Eren's form, but more feminine and muscular.
It is unknown how Annie seems to know the secrets of transforming into a titan and to be so adept in using her titan powers. She is far more experienced in using her titan form compared to Eren, who had only discovered his titan powers recently. She is probably the most skilled user of titan powers among all current known titan shifters, sporting a variety of presumably learned powers not exhibited by any other titan shifters.
In her titan form, she is able to selectively regenerate certain parts quickly as opposed to automatic simultaneous regeneration of all the damaged parts. She can selectively harden parts of her skin to protect it from damage or to enhance attack, and also shout to attract attentions of regular titans, seemingly being able to deliver simple orders while she is at it. Unlike most titan shifters who tire to the point of collapsing, she is able to preserve stamina and is fit enough to utilize the 3DMG to kill experienced soldiers before transforming for the second time - something never seen done by any known titan shifters thus far. Upon capture and extraction, she is able to generate a cocoon of incredibly hard and durable crystal, something that no known technology can yet break into, to trap herself in so as to avoid being interrogated.
